UNH Employee Fitness Program
The Employee Fitness Program (EFP) provides two opportunities to employees to improve their fitness: an individualized, one-year program, and an exercise facility for individual use on a come and go bases.
The EFP is housed in the Field House overlooking the main gym floor on the UNH-Durham campus and is approximately 3,600 square feet in size. The EFP offers fitness development and programming opportunities for employees at no cost. A wide variety of state-of-the-art aerobic, strength, balance exercise training equipment is available.
Employees can take part in the exercise facility and/or the Employee Fitness Program. The Employee Fitness Program consists Graduate and Undergraduate Exercise Science students being actively engaged in this program under the guidance of a faculty member. All EFP participants undergo extensive testing that culminates in an exercise prescription followed by personal training. Recruitment for this Program is during the Fall academic term each year.
The EFP provides an exercise facility that UNH employees are welcomed to use. Healthy UNH partners with the EFP to provide extended hours of operations for UNH employee use. Hours vary, so please check for current hours on the EFP website.
Please see the EFP website for further details and hours center is open for individual employee fitness.
