Local Harvest Initiative

The Local Harvest Initiative is a growing partnership of UNH Dining, University Office of Sustainability, and local producers. Through the Local Harvest Initiative, UNH Dining is committed to serving locally, regionally, and sustainably grown, produced, and manufactured items to the greatest extent possible.

StressEraser Program

The StressEraser is a small portable FDA regulated biofeedback device, about the size of a deck of cards, used by many people to mitigate stress by activating the relaxation response. Guiding the user through a series of simple breathing exercises, relaxation can occur within 15 minutes, calming the mind and relaxing the body. We invite you to join us as we explore ways to become free from chronic stress, relieve worry, and gain a greater ability to cultivate emotional well-being. This program is available to benefits eligible employees.

Disability Services for Students provides services to students with documented disabilities to ensure that all University activities and programs are accessible. The office also promotes the development of student self-reliance and the personal independence necessary to succeed in a university climate. We seek to create a comprehensively accessible environment where students are viewed on a basis of ability, not disability.

Organizational Wellness Services

A key to maintaining personal health is maintaining organizational health. A working atmosphere that is cohesive and free of unnecessary tension goes a long way toward lowering stress levels and increasing productivity. Reaching this goal can be as simple as talking through internal changes, or it can require more in-depth team building. Whatever your needs, the USNH Wellness Office can design a program for your group.
