Safe Zones Program

The Safe Zones Trainings are professional development opportunities focused on advancing awareness, knowledge, and skills around the services and support that we provide to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) students and colleagues.

Ergonomics

The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) provides ergonomic assessments for both computer workstations and those tasks involving manual material handling/lifting to minimize risks of musculoskeletal injuries and/or disorders. In addition to on-site one on one evaluations, OEHS is available to conduct training and education on ergonomics specified to your needs.

UNH Community Testing Program

The Exercise Science program offers Community Testing services conducted by faculty and graduate Laboratory. Some of the fee-for-assessment evaluations include blood lipid analysis, body composition analysis, submaximal and maximal graded exercise tests, and anaerobic threshold (lactic acid) testing. A complete list of services and prices are listed on the website. Student and group rates are available.

The Marriage and Family Therapy Center

The Marriage and Family Therapy Center provides assistance to individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of personal or relationship problems. The Center uses a sliding fee scale. Counseling is available to faculty, staff, adjunct employees, students and community members.

Disability Services for Students provides services to students with documented disabilities to ensure that all University activities and programs are accessible. The office also promotes the development of student self-reliance and the personal independence necessary to succeed in a university climate. Cornucopia Food Pantry/Waysmeet Center

Provides weekly emergency food supplies; food baskets three times a year; emergency needs response; monthly community dinners and drum circles, food rescue and recovery programs.
