Tobacco Use Cessation, Education, and Counseling

Health Services offers many tobacco cessation options such as nicotine replacement therapy, hypnosis, medical acupuncture, and prescription medication. Education, the resource library, and online resources are available. Education/information are free to the UNH community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health services fee. Tobacco cessation options are available for an additional cost.

Wellness educators/counselors are available to discuss stress management. Education, the resource library, and online resources are also available. Education/information and services are free to the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. For students who have not paid the health services fee, there is an additional cost.

Wellness educators/counselors are available to discuss sleep and stress management. Education, the resource library, and online resources also available. Education/information services are free to the UNH Community. Sexually Transmitted Infections Counseling and Education

Counseling, testing, and treatment, as well as free condoms (latex, polyurethane, incentive), dental dams, and lubricant are available for students.  Education, a resource library, and online resources are also available. Education/information are free to the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee. Testing and treatment for infections are available to students with additional costs.

Sexual Health Education and Services

Wellness Educator/Counselors are available to discuss a variety of issues related to sexuality – relationships, communication skills, sexual pleasure, contraceptive choices, sexually transmitted infections, sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression. Seasonal Affective Disorder Light Therapy

Light therapy is one form of treatment for Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Sitting in front of a light box is just one way to cope. Most studies show that about 75% of individuals who experience with SAD feel improvement when using light therapy within a couple days to a few weeks. Health Services offers free light therapy to current UNH students, faculty, and staff.

Men's Health offers clinical services, counseling, education, programs, and resouces on various topics pertaining men's health and wellness. Education and information is free for the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee. Clinical services are available for students and some services covered by the health fee.

Meditation

Meditation is an experience of relaxing the body, quieting the mind, and awakening the spirit. Walk-in group meditation sessions are offered  to the UNH community. Appointments to learn how to meditate are available for students. Meditation tracks are available to download from the Health Services website.
