StressEraser Program

The StressEraser is a small portable FDA regulated biofeedback device, about the size of a deck of cards, used by many people to mitigate stress by activating the relaxation response. Guiding the user through a series of simple breathing exercises, relaxation can occur within 15 minutes, calming the mind and relaxing the body. We invite you to join us as we explore ways to become free from chronic stress, relieve worry, and gain a greater ability to cultivate emotional well-being. This program is available to benefits eligible employees.

Healthy Returns

Biometric Screenings are offered twice yearly by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, with incentives for meeting health goals.

How To Access:

Register online for a specific session, or drop-in during Healthy Returns sessions. It takes most people 30 minutes to complete the session.

Health Education Reimbursement Program

As part of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care's Wellness Connection, subscribers are eligible for up to $200 per year, per household, in reimbursements for participating in approved health education classes in areas such as nutrition, weight  loss, tobacco cessation, fitness, stress management, and others.

Fitness Club Membership Program

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care subscribers are eligible to receive a $500 benefit per year 1 member per household for a health club membership that is payable to a selected participating health club. This membership is apart of the Harvard Pilgrim Wellness Connection.

Eye Exams

Employees who select Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as an insurance provider are now entitled to an eye exam on an annual basis.

Women's Health Services

Clinical Services include annual examinations, diagnosis and treatment of abnormal pap smears, testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy testing and counseling, contraceptive services, and limited sexual assault services. Women's health counseling is also provided. Health Services also offers education, a resource library and online resources. Education/information are free to the UNH community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee.

Wellness educators/counselors are available to discuss personal wellness, which may include topics such as physical, social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, intellectual, occupational, and financial wellness. Education, a resource library, and online resources also are available. Education/information are free to UNH Community. Travel Health Clinic

Whether you are traveling abroad for fun or for academic/professional reasons, all your medical travel needs can be met conveniently at Health Services during the academic year through the state-approved travel clinic. It is recommended that you schedule your travel clinic visit at least 4-6 weeks before you plan to leave. If students have paid the health fee, visits to the travel clinic are covered, immunizations are charged at a reduced rate. Clinic visit and immunizations are charged at a reduced rate for faculty, staff and adjunct employees.
