Wellness educators/counselors are available to discuss stress management. Education, the resource library, and online resources are also available. Education/information and services are free to the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost.

Sexually Transmitted Infections Counseling and Education

Counseling, testing, and treatment, as well as free condoms (latex, polyurethane, incentive), dental dams, and lubricant are available for students.  Education, a resource library, and online resources are also available. Education/information are free to the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee.

Sexual Orientation and Education Counseling

Students and employees who are GLBTQQIA (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, or Allies), will find a safe haven within Health Services. Health Services has gay and gay-friendly staff who are supportive and affirming to all GLBTQQIA students.  Education, a resource library, and online resources are available. Seasonal Affective Disorder Light Therapy

Light therapy is one form of treatment for Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Sitting in front of a light box is just one way to cope. Most studies show that about 75% of individuals who experience with SAD feel improvement when using light therapy within a couple days to a few weeks.

Radiology

Health Services Radiology Department performs most standard diagnostic x-rays.  All x-rays take at Health Services are reviewed by a local Radiologist. An x-ray order from  a Health Services Medical Clinician,  Employee Clinic Medical Clinician  or off-campus heatlhcare provider is required before scheduling any x-rays.

Primary Care Services

Primary care services (examples  include respiratory illnesses, all kinds of injuries, mental health concerns, intestinal disorders, dermatologic issues and much more) are offered at no additional cost to students who have paid the health fee. For a fee, primary care visits are available to students who have not paid the health fee. Acute care medical services are available to all employees for a fee at the Employee Clinic.
