Outdoor Tennis Courts

There are twelve tennis courts available. Six of the courts are offered for rental at $55/day non-unh rate. The remaining six are kept open for UNH students free of charge.

Hearing Screenings

Free hearing screenings are offered each May. Screenings are about 15-20 minutes long, located in Hewitt Hall and conducted by graduate students.

Bullying Education Program

Many years of research have shown that bullying in our schools and in our society is a much more damaging and dangerous experience for children than we ever suspected. Unfortunately, it's also much more widespread and is occurring at an earlier age than ever before. This program will help parents have a clear grasp of the prevalence and impact of bullying in their school and community, identify common signs that their child may be a victim or perpetrator of bullying and provide a clear, concise strategy for talking to their child about bullying.

Adaptive Recreation Equipment Rentals

Northeast Passage provides rentals on more than 180 pieces of adaptive recreation equipment. Rentals are available by the day or week, at affordable rates.

Slow Food at the University of New Hampshire is a collective effort to educate students, faculty, and the local Durham community about the production, consumption, and enjoyment of foods that are Good to the senses, Clean for the environment, and sold through Fair practices that support local economies.

Safe Zones Program

The Safe Zones Trainings are professional development opportunities focused on advancing awareness, knowledge, and skills around the services and support that we provide to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) students and colleagues.

Cornucopia Food Pantry/Waysmeet Center

Provides weekly emergency food supplies; food baskets three times a year; emergency needs response; monthy community dinners and drum circles.

Tobacco Use Cessation, Education, and Counseling

Health Services offers many tobacco cessation options such as nicotine replacement therapy, hypnosis, medical acupuncture, and prescription medication. Education, the resource library, and online resources are available. Education/information are free to the UNH community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health services fee. Tobacco cessation options are available for an additional cost.
