HIV Testing and Counseling

Health Services provides a confidential walk-in HIV counseling/testing clinic on Thursdays from 11-2, during the academic year, for $25. Results provided in 20 minutes.

Appointments are also available to students. For students who have paid the health fee, there is no cost in addtion to the $25 test fee. There is an appointment cost for students who have not paid the health fee.

Education, Resource Library, and online resources are also available.

Biofeedback

Biofeedback technology uses electronic equipment to measure and monitor changes in one’s internal physiological state while teaching breathing, relaxation and meditation exercises. Individual sessions with a computer-based biofeedback program are available at no cost to current UNH students who have paid the health fee. Biofeedback is available to current UNH faculty and staff at no cost during winter and summer breaks.

Women's Health Services

Clinical Services include annual examinations, diagnosis and treatment of abnormal pap smears, testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy testing and counseling, contraceptive services, and limited sexual assault services. Women's health counseling is also provided. Health Services also offers education, a resource library and online resources. Education/information are free to the UNH community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee.

Wellness educators/counselors are available to discuss personal wellness, which may include topics such as physical, social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, intellectual, occupational, and financial wellness. Education, a resource library, and online resources also are available. Education/information are free to UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health services fee.

Health Services offers many tobacco cessation options such as nicotine replacement therapy, hypnosis, medical acupuncture, and prescription medication. Education, the resource library, and online resources are available. Education/information are free to the UNH community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health services fee. Tobacco cessation options are available for an additional cost.

Wellness educators/counselors are available to discuss sleep and stress management. Education, the resource library, and online resources also available. Education/information services are free to the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee. Testing and treatment for infections are available to students with additional costs.
