With school starting back up for the year, it is almost a guarantee that the Hamel Rec Center will be full of students trying to stay physically active. Before you hit the Rec Center this semester, why not find out about all of the group classes and opportunities available to you besides the gym itself? One of the favorites among students, myself included, are the FREE group aerobics classes taught by experienced instructors. The Rec Center has everything from zumba and cycling to yoga and boxing. These classes are offered at all times of the day, so no matter how hectic your schedule is, there is something for you. In addition to group classes, the Rec Center also features basketball courts, racquetball courts, a running track and even a skating/ hockey arena. No matter what your preferred method of physical activity is, they'll have something you'll enjoy.
