Students learn about wellness opportunities right here on campus, at the 2011 Healthy UNH Wellness Fair.

UNH Rowing

The UNH Women's Rowing team has their first practice most days before the sun comes up, the second between classes throughout the day. Through the fall, all 50 women learn to perfect their rowing stroke or coxswain skills and build fitness.  

Running in College Woods

College Woods is located on the west side of the main campus. It comprises approximately 250 acres of woods, streams, and small fields. College Woods is the oldest and most intensively used University property for walking, running, and general natural relaxation.

Tai Chi on T-Hall Lawn

Students and employees gathered on T-Hall Lawn for a Tai Chi lesson as part of 2009-2010's Dialogue Series: Taking Care of Self and Community.

Healthy Lunch

It's easy to choose healthy options in the dining halls. This turkey sandwich on whole wheat with a side of steamed peas is a great example! 

Organic Gardening Club

The UNH Organic Garden Club (OGC) is a student-run organization established in 2003. OGC is part of the Food & Society Initiative of the UNH Office of Sustainability. OGC maintains a two-acre farm on the Campus-Community Farm, a 30-acre USDA certified organic site.

Fruit in Dining Halls

UNH Dining is work hard to provide delicious, nutritious food in dining halls on campus. These cantelope and strawberry skewers were tasty and healthy!

Walk NH- Road

Walkers head down Main Street for UNH's Walk NH event. 2010 was the 5th year of Walk NH, and the second time it was offered at UNH.

Walk NH- Path

UNH Students and Employees joined us in June for the UNH's Walk NH event, a State initiative to promote walking in New Hampshire.
