Library Use Policy
Up to 4 (four) books may be checked out for 2 (two) weeks.
Multimedia - CDs, DVDs
Two DVDS may be checked out for 5 days. Up to 3 CDs may be checked out for 7 days.
Other Printed Material
Brochures on display in Health Services and the Resource Library are free. If you would like multiple copies of a brochure(s), please visit Health Services, Room 249 (Office of Health Education and Promotion). Photocopying services are available, upon request.
All materials may be returned in Health Services, Room 249 (Office of Health Education and Promotion) between 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Materials may also be returned when Health Services is closed through the night drop box on the Health Services front door.
All items must be renewed or returned to avoid being billed a non-refundable charge of $25/per item (unless cost to replace item is more). To avoid this non-refundable charge, please renew materials by:

Some books may be checked out for extended time, but no later than the end of the semester it is checked out in. However, these books may be recalled at any time and must be promptly returned to the Resource Library in Health Services to avoid billing of a minimum non-refundable $25 fee. Multimedia items may not be checked out for extended time.
If a book or multimedia item has been recalled the borrower will receive an email or telephone call from the Office of Health Education and Promotion, Health Services. The items will be due 3 days after the office contacts the borrower. Failure to return the item(s) within the 3 days will result in a $25 non-refundable fee. The fee may also vary to reflect the actual replacement cost of the item or an item chosen in lieu of the lost item.
Borrowers of books and multimedia resources who do not return the items on the due date are contacted by telephone or email by the Office of Health Education and Promotion, Health Services. The borrower is offered a grace period of 5 days by which they must return the items before they are billed a non-refundable fee of at least $25. The fee may also vary to reflect the actual replacement cost of the item or an item chosen in lieu of the lost item.
To avoid being non-refundable fees for late or unreturned items, please return or renew items when or before they are due.
