Education/Counseling Sessions
Wellness Educators/Counselors in the Office of Health Education and Promotion are available to speak with you one-on-one, in a confidential setting, about a variety of issues:

Even if you just want a safe and confidential place to talk about what is on your mind, we have educators/counselors available to meet with you and help guide you to the appropriate resource(s) on campus.

Wellness/Services
Health Services encourages all students to learn more about nurturing your mind, body and spirit. The following services are available:
- Free yoga classes
Come stretch your body and soul at yoga classes every Wednesday and Thursday in the MUB. Open to students only. - Massage therapy
Massage away your stress with a traditional or hot stone massage at Health Services. All massages are 50-minutes and performed by Licensed Massage Therapists. - Meditation (individual and group sessions)
Meditation is an experience of relaxing the body, quieting the mind, and awakening the spirit. Make an appointment with a Wellness Educator/Counselor to learn more about meditation and meditation techniques or attend a group meditation session. - Biofeedback
Biofeedback uses electronic equipment to measure and measure and monitor changes in one’s internal physiological state while teaching breathing, relaxation and meditation exercises. Individual sessions with a computer-based biofeedback program are available to current UNH students who have paid the health fee. - Reflections for Mind, Body, Spirit Meditation Tracks

The general theory of acupuncture is based on the premise that there are patterns of energy flow (Qi) through the body that are essential for health. Disruptions of this flow are believed to be responsible for disease. Acupuncture may correct imbalances of flow at identifiable points close to the skin. Health Services offers medical acupuncture with our Physician, Gerald Collins.

Group Education
Joining a group is a great way to learn about yourself and meet other women at UNH. Each semester we offer a variety of group education opportunities to all UNH students.
Being Fierce and Fabulous – A Group for Women
This fun and empowering group is offered each semester to help women:
- Connect with other women in a safe and confidential environment
- Reflect on who they are as unique individuals
- Give volume to their voice to assert their needs and desires
- Become confident in who they are on the outside and inside
- Learn techniques and skills to nurture themselves
- Rediscover their already fierce and fabulous selves
