How I approach my work with students:
I consider working with colleges students of all ages a special opportunity. Each student who comes for nutrition counseling is respected, honored in his/her own right and treated as an equal in a supportive and relaxed environment. Collaboration and partnership are paired with compassion and understanding plus a little humor for good measure. This approach along with reflective listening and individualized education is intended to help students become motivated to achieve their goals for nutrition well-being.
