Counseling and Education
Students who are GLBTQQIA (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, or Allies), will find a safe haven at Health Services. We have gay and gay-friendly staff who are supportive and affirming to all GLBTQQIA students, and we support activities on campus that increase awareness and understanding of this richly diverse population.
Counseling/Education
GLBTQQIA students may speak with Peter Welch, our Wellness Educator/Counselor on issues related to:
- Coming out to self, friends, and family
- Understanding sexual feelings
- Developing a positive sense of self
- Exploring gender identity and expression
- Negotiating intimate relationships
- Navigating safer sex practices
Appointments can be made by calling (603) 862-3823 or online.
