About the Program

Health Services, is working with the Department of Animal and Nutritional Sciences and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services to implement a pilot program to help the state provide outreach to women in college about the importance of folic acid. The pilot is providing a free 90-day supply of vitamins with folic acid to female students after they complete a pre-survey and education (approximately 5 minutes). These students will then be encouraged to return in 3 months to complete a post survey and receive another 90-day supply of vitamins.
