Digital Storytelling Workshop: Stories of Resilience and Recovery
Digital Storytelling Workshop: Stories of Resilience and Recovery
Express your story of recovery and resilience in a safe and supportive environment
This is a workshop where participants use narrative and expressive art therapy to create a multimedia presentation of their personal journeys of recovery. A digital story is a short, first-person video narrative created by combining recorded voice, still and moving images, music, and other multi-media tools.
The workshop will...
- Teach you how to tell your story of recovery and resilience using multimedia.
- Provide you the opportunity to reflect on the journey from which you came, and direct a new path for you to take.
- Offer new ways to tap into your creativity.
- Create a safe and supportive environment to have fun.
This workshop is open to all UNH who want to create a multimedia project about his/her path through using digital storytelling. Facilitated by Melissa Garvey, Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Educator/Counselor at Health Services.
