Digital Storytelling Workshop

Stories of Resilience and Recovery

A digital story is a short, first-person video narrative created by combining recorded voice, still and moving images, music, and other multi-media tools. In this workshop, you will use narrative and expressive art therapy to create a multimedia presentation of their personal journeys of recovery. This is a chance for you to express your story of recovery and resilience in a safe and supportive environment.  Open to all UNH students.

The workshop will...

  • Teach you how to tell your story of recovery and resilience using multimedia.
  • Provide you the opportunity to reflect on the journey from which you came, and direct a new path for you to take.
  • Offer new ways to tap into your creativity.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment to have fun.

Facilitated by Melissa Garvey, Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Educator/Counselor.
