Upcoming H1N1 Vaccine Clinic for Health Care Workers with Direct Patient Contact and Students (17-24 years of age) with Chronic Health Issues
UNH Health Services is providing the H1N1 flu vaccine to students, faculty or staff who will have direct patient contact due to clinical rotation, internship and/or placements in health care settings spring semester and students (17 – 24 years of age) with chronic health issues.
Serious chronic illness include:
- disease of lungs, heart, kidneys, liver, nerves or blood
- diabetic or other type of metabolic disease
- currently taking medication for asthma
- taking a medication which may compromise your immune system
- Crohn’s disease or other major intestinal disease
- spinal cord injury
- seizure disorder or epilepsy
- post transplant
- cancer
If you are currently a health care worker in a clinical setting and have yet to receive the H1N1 vaccine you may also participate in the clinic.

Monday, November 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, December 1 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Health Services Conference Rooms (second floor).
COST: There will be no charge to receive the vaccine.

Health Services is strongly encouraging all students, faculty and staff who serve as health care workers with direct patient contact to attend this clinic.
Additional clinics will be scheduled as more vaccine becomes available.
