Bulgur is a kind of whole-wheat grain. It's quick and easy to cook and tasty. This is breakfast recipe. But bulgur's also great for lunch or dinner, especially when cooked in chicken or vegetable broth instead of water. Substitute bulgur for rice in any recipe.

Bulgur takes about 12 minutes to cook (instead of 25) if you leave the heat on low and simmer it. But then you couldn't shower and get dressed while it cooks!
Make a double batch and stick some in the fridge before you add syrup or milk. It's good later hot or cold.
