The University of New Hampshire Graduate Student Organization (GSO) is designed to represent the interests of the graduate student body. This is accomplished in several ways.
- The GSO provides a framework for graduate student participation in University governance, including representation on University committees.
- The GSO acts as an advocate for graduate student concerns, and workers to facilitate communication between graduate students, faculty, and administration.
- The GSO works to promote interaction among graduate students from all academic programs at UNH by organizing social events and providing graduate students with opportunities to participate in community and campus events.
- The GSO strives to continually improve graduate student life at UNH by reviewing and responding to policies that directly affect graduate students (such as mandatory fees, health insurance, and housing).
