2007/2008 UNH Formula SAE: Precision Racing Sponsorship Packet
Please note, all sponsorships and donations are completly tax-deductable to you or your business.
So what does it mean to sponsor UNH Precision Racing?
Sponsoring UNH Precision racing means a lot of things. Sponsorship offers you a chance to not only give back to the community, but also allows you to help the largest engineering program at UNH. It gives the students a chance to pursue their interests and apply the skills they’ve learned in the classroom. It also means you are part of a race team. We know you’ve always wanted the chance to say you are part of a small Formula team….
I have sponsored student projects before, and I’ve gotten nothing in return. What makes your team different?
At UNH Precision Racing, we take pride in our sponsorship and you will definitely get something in return. Pending the level of sponsorship, your logo will end up on everything from our car to our team shirts. You will get invited to exclusive sponsor dinners. Larger sponsors get invited to private track events at New Hampshire International Speedway. Track events feature our best drivers who have over 20 years of combined race experience. The track events also include lunch and several presentations. We even feature sponsors in our newsletter by showing off logos. This season, we hope to include a monthly company profile section, highlighting individual sponsors each month.
So if I sponsor your team, it's as if I am really a part of the team. What about the business aspect of my donation?
All donations are tax deductible. Any donation made, whether it is time, labor, material, or money, is completely tax deductible. Once the donation is made, our finance department provides proof of the transaction. The transaction is then complete. Once the transaction is complete, the only additional information you may need to provide (to the IRS) is proof of value for the item donated. This would apply to something like a trailer.
Great! I am ready to sponsor the team! Who should I talk to?
Feel free to contact Brandon Bell at rbbell@unh.edu or Marcus Proctor at marcusp@unh.edu. You may also fill out the form located on the become a sponsor page!
