Previous Formula Cars

UNH Formula SAE/UNH Precision Racing has been steadily growing and improving over the last few years. We have big plans for the 2006-2007 season, and while most ideas are total redesigns of the car, many are simply improvements over the past seasons cars.

The team has progressed extremely well since its start in 2003. The following is a breakdown of competition results from the past several years showing vehicle points and change from previous year:

2008-2009: Car 86

Placed 41st overall at Formula SAE. Category Scores: 62nd Design, 56th Cost, 26th Presentation, 61st Acceleration, 52nd Skidpad, 29th Autocross, and 32nd Endurance. Best placing overall for any UNH team and only the second year to complete all events, including endurance.

2007-2008: Car 36

Placed 97th overall at Formula SAE. Category Scores: 81st Design, 18th Cost, 101st Presentation, 72nd Acceleration, Did Not Attempt Skidpad, Autocross, or Endurance. One of the top teams in Cost and Manufacturing of a weekend Autocrosser!

Placed 51st overall at Formula SAE. Category Scores: 14th Design, 73rd Cost, 95th Presentation, 71st Acceleration, 48th Skidpad, 64th Autocross, 33rd Endurance. First year to complete endurance!
