Guidelines for International Attendees
If you are NOT a citizen of the United States, and wish to either present or attend at the 9th International Family Violence Research Conference, please read this information carefully as we are very limited in the assistance that can be provided to you.
PLEASE NOTE: International attendees are solely responsible for all forms, filings and contacts with a US consulate in their country of origin to obtain a Visa to enter the US.
Letters of Invitation
For Presenters:
Upon acceptance of your abstract by the Conference Committee, you will be mailed one (1) original letter by regular US Mail, which states that you have been accepted to present at our conference. No email, fax, or FedEx for letters will be provided. Please make sure that your address information is complete and accurate when submitting your abstract.
For Attendees:
If you wish to attend the conference and are not accepted as a presenter, you will need to obtain a Visa at the US Consulate in your country of origin. We can only provide a confirmation letter of attendance and invitation letter once you have registered and paid for your registration. No additional email, fax, or FedEx for letters will be provided. Please make sure that your address information is complete and accurate when you register.
