Amanda Werner is the newest addition to the UNH Synchronized Skating Team. She grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts, where she started her synchronized skating career with the Ice Liners. Amanda then skated for the Ice Mates out of Lexington for one year where she helped her team to a Novice National Championship in 2002. She then skated on the Colonial Junior Line for three years where she competed both nationally and internationally. Amanda then skated for Miami Universityís Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Team for three years, winning a National Championship in 2006, and was a member of the first U.S. team to ever podium at the World Championships in 2007 with a silver medal.She graduated from Miami University in May 2009 with a bachelorís degree in Business Marketing.
Amanda also joined the Colonial Figure Skating Club coaching staff in May 2009.Read the press release announcing her joining the IceCats team.
Kelly Richall is the assistant coach for the UNH Synchronized Skating Team. Kelly grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts and graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2006. She majored in Communications and French and was a member of the synchroninzed skating team all 4 years. We are excited to have Kelly as part of our program!
