Gilman International Scholarship
The Gilman Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.

Middlebury Language School: Kathryn Davis Fellowships for Peace
The Kathryn Davis Fellowships are being offered to cover the full cost of one summer of language study at the Middlebury Language Schools—from the beginner to the graduate level—in six languages, including Arabic. The fellowship covers the full comprehensive fee (tuition, room, and board), plus a stipend to assist in defraying program-related expenses.

NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Program
The NCAA awards up to 174 postgraduate scholarships annually, 87 for men and 87 for women. The scholarships are awarded to student-athletes who excel academically and athletically and who are at least in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition. The one-time grants of $7,500 each are awarded for fall sports, winter sports and spring sports. Each sports season (fall, winter and spring), there are 29 scholarships available for men and 29 scholarships available for women. The scholarships are one-time, non-renewable grants.

Department of Energy Office of Science Graduate Fellowship Program
The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science (SC) has established the DOE Office of Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE SCGF) program to provide support for outstanding students to pursue graduate degrees and research in areas of physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, computational sciences and environmental sciences relevant to the Office of Science, and to encourage the development of the next generation scientific and technical talent in the U.S. Fellows will receive a $35,000 yearly stipend for living expenses, $10,500 per year for tuition and fees and a $5,000 research stipend supplement for research materials and travel expenses. Fellows will be required to attend the annual DOE SCGF Research Conference to be held each summer at a DOE national laboratory. Travel expenses and accommodations to the Conference will be provided by the DOE SCGF program.

Environmental Protection Agency Greater Research Opportunities Fellowship for Environmental Study
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Center for Environmental Research (NCER), invites applications for the Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) Fellowships for undergraduate environmentally related study for bachelor’s level students. Subject to availability of funding, the Agency plans to award approximately 40 new fellowships by July 29, 2011. The fellowship provides up to $19,700 per year of academic support and $9,500 for internship support for a combined total of up to $48,900 over the life of the fellowship.

NAEP Jim Roberts Memorial Scholarship Fund
Will be awarded annually at the annual NAEP conference to a student currently enrolled in an environmental program at any accredited university or college in the United States, its territories or Canada. The applications are evaluated by the Scholarship Committee and one honoree receives an award between $500-$1000, depending on the available endowment. These awards can be used for education expenses including tuition and books.

NDSEG Fellowships
The National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship is a highly competitive, portable fellowship that is awarded to U.S. citizens and nationals who intend to pursue a doctoral degree in one of fifteen supported disciplines. NDSEG confers high honors upon its recipients, and allows them to attend whichever U.S. institution they choose. NDSEG Fellowships last for three years and pay for full tuition and all mandatory fees, a monthly stipend, and up to $1,000 a year in medical insurance.

The Whitaker International Fellows and Scholars Program sends emerging leaders in U.S. biomedical engineering (or bioengineering) to undertake a self-designed project that will enhance their own careers within the field. In the first four years of the Whitaker Program, 100 grants have been awarded to Fellows and Scholars to conduct projects in over 20 countries worldwide.

Willard B. Simmons Sr. Memorial Scholarship
All pharmacy students who are student members of NCPA are eligible to apply for ONE of the NCPA Foundation Scholarships per academic year. Woodrow Wilson's Indiana Fellowship

The American Psychological Association offers a number of major awards in recognition of outstanding contributions in diverse areas of psychology including practice, research, teaching, and public service. Within the Society for Counseling Psychology, a special Award Focus Committee solicits the names of possible nominees for APA awards and submits nominations for award recipients to the Executive Board for their action. 100 Davis Fellowships are offered to cover the full cost of summer language study from beginner to graduate levels in Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, Portuguese, and Russian at the Middlebury College Language Schools. Fellowship grants cover the full comprehensive fee (tuition, room, and board) at the Middlebury summer Language Schools. The Davis Fellowships are merit-based and intended for exceptionally qualified individuals with demonstrated interest in one or more of the following areas: international, global, or area studies; international politics and economics; peace and security studies; and/or conflict resolution. Supports research that contributes to nursing science and the enhancement of patient care. Awards are given in all areas of nursing, including patient outcomes, healthcare policy development, critical care, gerontology, women's health, community and family intervention, and other topics. Awards provide start-up funds for graduate students, junior faculty, and senior faculty who are changing their research focus. PI must be a licensed registered nurse who has obtained at least one nursing degree.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Center for Environmental Research (NCER), invites applications for the Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) Fellowships for undergraduate environmentally related study for bachelor’s level students. Subject to availability of funding, the Agency plans to award approximately 40 new fellowships by July 29, 2011. The fellowship provides up to $19,700 per year of academic support and $9,500 for internship support for a combined total of up to $48,900 over the life of the fellowship.
