Bethany Wakeman, Fulbright Fellowship 2010

 

Bethany Wakeman graduated in 2010 with a major in Psychology and a double minor in Philosophy and Asian Studies. She has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year to be an English Teaching Assistant in Macua, China.
Bethany is a member of the University Honors Program and a Presidential Scholar. While a Sophomore at UNH, Bethany studied Mandarin Chinese and then continued to pursue her interest in Asian Studies. In the Fall of 2008, she studied abroad with Semester at Sea with a focus on China and its global influence.
Following her year abroad through the US Fulbright Program, Bethany will attend Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where she will work towards her Master of Arts in Counseling.
