Facilities Operations and Maintenance contains 4 zones that provide support and service to campus. Each zone consists of professionals in the fields of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, general mechanical, painting and carpentry.
With offices at the Field House, Zone 1 maintains and performs preventative maintenance on 26 academic, science, athletic and service buildings across campus. Their team consists of 9 dedicated employees who respond to any and all situations. Zone 1 is also responsible for testing and maintaining utility power systems (UPS or generators) as well as testing and maintaining preventative backflow systems throughout campus. Zone 1 prides itself on striving to be the gold standard in service and response to their campus customers.

With offices in the Service Building, Zone 2 provides level one service for 17 academic buildings, most of them science/lab related. They are also responsible for maintaining all air compressors and walk lights on campus. Zone 2 consists of 12 dedicated individuals who respond to any and all situations and pride themselves on their extraordinary team effort to provide high quality service to campus.

With offices at 9 Leavitt Lane, Zone 4 provides service for more than 150 on and off campus locations. The crew of 12 experienced individuals provide service to many administrative areas on campus including support for boilers, pressure vessels, roofing, finish doors, window screens, glass/window repair, sheet metal fabrication, tile work, and roofing. The Whittemore Arena also falls under their purview as well as the administration of the UNH refrigerant management program. Licensing and safety training is coordinated through their classroom. They excel at safely providing on-time service to their customers.

With offices in Williamson, Zone 5 provides support and service to dorms, apartments, dining halls and satellite food related operations. Their team consists of 25 dedicated employees who respond to any and all situations. Zone 5 prides itself on its great working relationships with campus customers, including our students.
