GIS Web Applications
Welcome to the GIS Web Applications instructions and helpful hints page. The information contained on this page was designed to help the end user easily navigate the GIS Web Applications hosted on the Facilites website. We hope you find it useful. For questions, comments, or other inquiries please use the "Comments" hyperlink found in one of our web applications and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
Instructions & Helpful Hints
Zoom In/Out: Use the slider bar on the left side of the screen to zoom in or out. Additionally, use the mouse scroll wheel or double left click on the map.
Pan: Left click, hold down the mouse button, and drag the mouse in order to move the map.
View Attributes: To view additional information about the construction projects, roll the cursor over the desired polygon. An information window should then appear. To close the information window, left click on the "X" in the upper right corner.
To Change the Basemap: Left click on the "Switch Basemap" button and select a new basemap. Once the new basemap has been selected, left click on the button again to collapse it.
Comments: Left click on the "Comments" hyperlink located in the upper right corner of the webpage. Fill out the form and submit.
If the map does not appear right away give it a few seconds to pop up. If the map still does not appear, hit the refresh button.
