on call to negotiate

1.  Motion presenter:   Anita Klein

2.  Date of Faculty Senate discussion:  2/1/2010

3.   Motion:

The Faculty Senate is very concerned about how quickly negotiations have broken down and urges both parties to go back to the table in good faith with authority to negotiate.

4.  Senate action:  passed with thirty-five ayes, two nays, and three abstentions.
