3. Motion:

The senate unanimously approved a motion that the Faculty Senate, recognizing the many significant teaching, service and research accomplishments of the faculty, will co-sponsor, along with the Office of Academic Affairs, an academic convocation on October 7, 2003, which will feature several outstanding faculty members nominated by their peers.
