About the University of New Hampshire

The University of New Hampshire, founded in 1866, is known for its academic quality and excellence in research. It serves more than 10,000 degree students each year, who major in a variety of fields in the arts and sciences. The University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., which accredits schools and colleges in the six New England states. Accreditation by the association indicates that the institution has been carefully evaluated and found to meet standards agreed upon by qualified educators.
