Welcome to the ESL Institute and thank you for considering our program at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), Durham, a wonderful place to study! Whether you are interested in focusing on improving your English or pursuing future studies at UNH, I am confident that the ESL Institute can help you achieve your personal, academic, and professional goals.
UNH has been involved in teaching international students English since 1976 and over the years has seen a steady increase in its enrollment. In the fall of 2012, we welcomed nearly 200 new and continuing students and project nearly another 200 in fall 2013. Additionally, the ESL Institute has a long history of customizing its programs to work with groups of students, accommodating their English, programmatic needs either through specialized summer programs or specialized programs during the academic year.
