BS Hydrology
Prepares students for professional careers and for advanced studies in hydrology, hydrogeology, and water-resource management. Requirements: satisfy University General Education Requirements, calculus (12 cr.), chemistry (8 cr.), physics (12 cr.), computer science (4 cr.), statistics (4 cr.), selected courses in hydrology, geology, and civil engineering (32 cr.), approved electives (6 cr.).
BA Earth Sciences
Prepares students for careers and advanced study in earth and enviromental sciences, oceanography (new option approved in 1999) and related management positions. Provides a broader liberal-arts foundation and greater flexibility in electives than the BS programs.
BA Earth Sciences Teaching
This program combined with the secondary school teacher education program is designed to prepare students to teach earth sciences in secondary schools.
