Bedrock: No rock exposed at surface. Underlying bedrock is likely Silurian.

Quaternary (Pleistocene)

Surficial Geology: Calcareous glacial till with sharp gravel-sized stones.

Soil Series: Losantville loam. Gently sloping, deep, well drained soil on rises on moraines, formed on glacial till under deciduous forest.
