Congratulations to Project Director Vaso
Partinoudi and Director Robin Collins!
 At
the 2005 American Water Works Association Awards, Vasiliki Partinoudi
took the 1st place Academic Achievement Award for Best Master's
thesis, "Riverbank Filtration as a Viable Pretreatment and
Treatment Method." Prof. M. Robin Collins received an award
as her advisor.
Fellow UNH student Nicola Ballester took the 2nd place Academic
Achievement Award for Best Master's thesis, "Effects of Synergistic
Disinfection on Adenovirus Inactivation." Her advisor is Prof.
James P. Malley, Jr.
The awards ceremony took place in San Francisco, CA on June 15th.
