ERG is situated in Gregg Hall on the West Campus of the University of New Hampshire. The principal focus of the campus and the programs within Gregg Hall is technovation: applied and fundamental research to develop, evaluate and pilot innovative technologies. The whole concept of the campus and building is to involve partners who literally work "side by side" with UNH faculty and students. Faculty and students benefit from the real world experiences of applied research.

Partners benefit from the scientific inquiry and scholarship of students and faculty in a university setting. Typical partners include the private sector, municipal government, state government, federal government and research institutions around the world.
