Prospective Partners need to assess what kind
of relationship they would like to establish: a short term one where
some basic data is provided to a long term one where ERG faculty,
staff and students work with the Partner to thouroughly evaluate
a process, a technology, a concept. We encourage Partners to think
about long term commitments (we have many successful models). This
may be easier for larger companies or municipalities or state agencies,
it may be inappropriate for small companies or towns. Some example
projects are shown here.
Prospective Partners have a number of options to consider:
- placement of research staff or scientists at UNH to work on
on-going research and technovation projects,
- office space in the ETB (subject to negotiated arrangements),
- laboratory space (benches, hoods, constant temperature rooms,
high bays),
- access to field demonstration sites,
- evaluation of your technology by a "third party" evaluation
process,
- involvement of graduate students or undergraduates on research
topics of interest,
- access to graduating students familiar with your technologies
and R&D needs
- recognition of your partnership in ERG publications and the
ERG web page, and
- access to UNH facilities (instrumentation, libraries, field
sites).
