March 1, 2013: First Fridays Speakers Series welcomes Prof. Cathy Schlund-Vials, UCONN 
Dr. Schlund-Vials is Associate Professor of English and Asian American Studies at the University of Connecticut-Storrs, where she is also Director of the Asian American Studies Institute. She is the author of Modeling Citizenship, a study of how Jewish- and Asian-Americans wrestle with "model minority status" and citizenship in literature; and War, Genocide and Justice: Cambodian American Memory Work.
