Join us for a Writers Series event featuring award-winning poet Stuart Dischell. This event is free and open to the public.

Stuart Dischell is the author of Good Hope Road, a 1991 National Poetry Series Selection, Evenings & Avenues, Dig Safe, and Backwards Days, and the chapbooks Animate Earth (Jeanne Duval Editions, 1988) and Touch Monkey (Forklift, 2012). Dischell's poems have been widely published in journals such as Agni, The Atlantic, The New Republic, Ploughshares, Slate, The Kenyon Review, and in anthologies including Essential Poems, Hammer and Blaze, The Pushcart Prize, and Garrison Keillor's Good Poems. A recipient of awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the North Carolina Arts Council, and the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation,he teaches in the Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing at Greensboro.
