On Tuesday, April 26, from 12:40-2:00 in HS 101, Adrian Johns will be presenting a talk entitled "The Debate over Google's Universal Library in Historical Perspective." Lunch will be served.
Adrian Johns is Professor of History and Chair of the Committee on Conceptual and Historical Studies of Science at the University of Chicago. His book, "The Nature of the Book," is one of the most groundbreaking recent works in the study of the history of the book, contributing to our understanding of early printing and publishing.
