Roberta "Bobbi" Kyle, 1985 Cambridge Program Alum
Occupation: Associate Dean/Associate Professor, Worcester State College
News: Hard to believe it has been 24 years since that wonderful summer. I went on to complete a Masters in Literature at UNH and then a Masters at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT... followed by a doctorate in International/Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco. In 2005 I adopted a baby girl from Kathmandu, Nepal as a single mother. Now I work in Worcester as an Associate Dean for Graduate and Continuing Education.
Comments: Wonderful memories of Phil Nicoloff, British films, excursions, dinners in the great hall and friendships. I grew up and out that summer!

Occupation/News: I'm the founder of the blog, Poor Man's Feast, a contributor to Huffington Post, a cookbook author, and an editor.
Comments: an amazing program---not a day goes by that I don't think about it, my professors, and my friends. It changed me, profoundly. Would love to be in touch with anyone/everyone from that remarkable summer in Cambridge, 1983. Email.

News: Living outside of New York City. Would like to hear from other alums from Summer, 1980.
Comments: The program is still one of the highlights of my life. As with most things like that - when you are in them, you don't fully appreciate the richness of the experience. Looking back on it now, I realize it was the small day to day moments that were truly profound. Yes, the program expanded my ability to read and understand literature, particularly Henry James. But it also was my first trip overseas and everything I experienced was new and different. There was a poignancy that was truly ineffable. I attended the program immediately after my senior year of college so it was a fitting end to my college life.
