The UNH Writers Academy provides an opportunity for young writers entering grades 5 through 12 to write, edit, and publish their own stories, poems, and plays. Several week-long sessions are offered during the summer, each geared toward a different age group. In addition to writing and editing, students meet and interview professional authors, work in small groups to share their writing and enthusiasm with other students, confer with teachers to improve their work, and learn what it means to be a writer. All sessions meet Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-2:30 PM on the Durham campus. Carpooling is strongly encouraged!
The cost per session is $170. To register, complete both forms and send a check payable to UNH ENGLISH.
