- Investigating ways to build a more collaborative archaeology, with particular focus on connecting with tribal communities.
- Developing ways to extend an ongoing collaboration with the Michigan Anishinaabek Cultural Preservation & Repatriation Alliance and the Burt Lake (Cheboiganing) Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians involving joint workshops, tribal student involvement in field work, and non-destructive archaeological techniques.
- Investigating ways to involve more public community members in current archaeological field research as ‘Citizen Scientists’.
- Exploring ways to expand UNH’s cultural heritage efforts including furthering collaboration with local Abenaki communities.
