- Further engaging UNH's sustainability and carbon reduction programs to his own research and to state and local leaders in New Hampshire and across the Seacoast and New England regions, thereby building relationships between UNH climate change scientific, technical and policy research and active non-governmental organizations and citizens across New Hampshire and the broader region.
- Assisting state and local officials in their efforts to develop CO2 emission reduction goals and implement programs to measure and achieve those goals.
- Connecting UNH graduate student expertise to the needs of state and local officials around carbon reduction and sustainability issues.
