- Collaborating with academics and franchise executives in the development and refinement of an International Franchise Expansion Model that will guide franchise firms in their selection of optimal foreign markets to expand their operations to; and a financial model that will help franchise firms make the optimal decision on whether to build and operate their own units or sell franchises.
- Working with a major hotel in Boston (Omni Parker House) to provide hands-on, practical hospitality management experience to a dozen UNH undergraduate students one full day per week through the Spring semester; this will allow students to study extensively and in depth the workings of a major metropolitan hotel.
