- Engaged with an interdisciplinary, international research team investigating the cycling of carbon in the Earth's coastal environment.
- Conducts ongoing research and analysis on the degree to which human activity on land affects coastal ecosystems.
- Has extensive experience in secondary schools as a former science teacher, now a volunteer.
- Recently received the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) New Investigator award and proposes to design and lead a 5-day summer workshop for secondary teachers at UNH that will focus on the theme Peaks to the Plumes, land-ocean interaction science.
