- Serving as Chair of the Durham Town Council and actively involved in local economic development projects, municipal finance, and land use issues.
- Serving as Treasurer of the History of Economics Society and engaged with many of the issues faced by small non-profit organizations.
- Pursuing research to develop a creative solution to help resolve the K-12 funding "crisis" that currently exists in the State of New Hampshire via a multi-disciplinary approach to evaluate the Bramante Proposal of negative land value tax as a funding mechanism.
