- Pursuing an active research program to examine how global change (i.e. climate warming, nitrogen deposition, biodiversity loss) is impacting forest ecosystems in the Northeast.
- Secured funding to pursue an outreach project as part of a National Science Foundation (NSF) Early Career Development Grant, with the objective to develop a public education campaign to inform NH residents of the goods and services that local ecosystems provide.
- Working to refine or possibly even redefine a current outreach project to inform New Hampshire residents of the goods and services that local ecosystems provide, with an emphasis on the role of soils in ecosystem function.
