- Connecting the area of bio-inspired engineering to the area of nanotechnology to develop next generation novel materials and devices.
- Expanding the application of 3D printing technology in the research areas of mechanics, design, architecture, biology, bio-medical engineering and manufacturing.
- Stimulating student’s interests in mechanics, an ancient but everlasting topic in science, by demonstrating the beauty and power of mechanics in interdisciplinary research.
