- Focusing on hybrid social purpose business ventures (organizations with a primary social or environmental purpose, but which employ a market-based mechanism)
- Developing of theory about the ways in which these unique hybrid organizations can achieve competitive success in the marketplace, while effectively delivering on their powerful social and/or environmental missions
- Developing a specific proposal to address the above topics in the context of sustainable agriculture and food production
- Embarking on work which examines the effectiveness of experiential learning methodologies, in the context of educating aspiring and current social entrepreneurs
