- Investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms by which the immune system influences ovarian function and fertility in animals and humans
- Discovering and implementing new avenues of basic and applied research in animal reproductive physiology that will provide tangible, helpful information to both animal producers and clinicians in the treatment of infertility
- Engaging with collaborators to develop and produce high-quality, competitive research proposals and high-impact publications in reproductive physiology
- Acquiring greater in-depth knowledge about effective methods of instruction, learning assessment, and undergraduate involvement in research
